If I use the scale suggested by my textbook to set and lock for the layout, e.g. I still also have significant issues with scale in layouts and scale in general which is affecting my ability to insert text, draw tables, dimension, etc. I am afraid I didn’t understand your query about double clicking inside the viewport. I tried zoom extents which did bring the drawing back in but the viewport is now located outside the borders of the page which is showing as a very small rectangle in the bottom left hand corner of the screen so I don’ t think that works. ![]() If I change back to mm then the drawing reappears but the drawing units are architectural. When plotting I am only changing from mm to inches and then selecting a scale of 1:1 as switching from mm to inches prompts the scale to default to Custom. ![]() Strangely, if I then toggle from paper to model space within the layout, the Model/Layout tab then almost disappears behind the Paper/Model tab and I have to select the layout again to pull it out from behind. ![]() it happens as soon as I click the OK button after setting up my plotting. After plotting I am not able to see anything in paperspace or modelspace in the layout tab. ![]()
